Test Driven Development in Visual Studio 2010
Test Driven Development (TDD), also frequently referred to as Test Driven Design, is a development methodology where developers create software by first writing a unit test, then writing the actual system code to make the unit test pass. The unit test can be viewed as a small specification around how the system should behave. Microsoft has worked hard to reduce the friction for doing TDD in Visual Studio 2010. In this presentation, you will see how to reduce the number of keystrokes to write your test, generate your code, and refactor.
Richard Hundhausen is the president of Accentient, a company that specializes in Application Lifecycle Management using Visual Studio Team System. He has over 25 years of software and database development experience and 20 years of training and presentation experience. Richard is a Microsoft Regional Director, Visual Studio Team System MVP, and author of "Working with Visual Studio Team System" (Microsoft Press).

Two Topics for the Price of One:
UML Modeling and MTLM
You’ve heard about Automated UI Testing, IntelliTrace, and hierarchical work items, but the new Modeling tools and Microsoft Test and Lab Manager are often overlooked when people talk about what’s great about Visual Studio 2010. In this presentation, we’ll highlight the features and capabilities of both the modeling tools and Microsoft Test and Lab Manager. We’ll connect the dots by tracing modeling artifacts all the way to the testing effort in Microsoft Test and Lab Manager.
